Thabo is the Managing Director of Stilistics Sportainment (PTY) LTD, a premier sports and entertainment company based in Gaborone, Botswana. Stilistics Sportainment was founded in August 2008. It is mainly a management and consulting firm and provides unique range of services dealing with the business of sport.
The company was established to address the many challenges that Botswana faces in the areas of Sport of entertainment and sport business. Thabo realised that as a private entity focusing on the area of sport, his company will augment government efforts and those of other sports organisations which strive to bring the level of sport in Botswana at par with those countries which are already reaping the benefits of sport. Some of the services his company offers include but not limited to: Sports Marketing and Sponsorship, Sports Events Management and activations, Sports Development and Administration and Management, Athletes Management and Sponsorship.
He received his International Master in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport from the International Centre for Sport Studies (CIES) endorsed by the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA). The Master is taught by three most prestigious Universities in Europe. The Universities in question are; De Montford University in England, SDA Bocconi in Italy and Neuchatel University in Switzerland. The Master was created to promote management education within the sports world. It has developed to become a top graduate programme developing all-round managers who can cope with the increasingly complex world of sport. Since that time he has had a diverse and rich career in different sport systems. Thabo also posses Bachelor of Arts Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Education obtained from the University of Botswana.
Thabo started his career in Sport Administration at the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) in 1997 as Sport Development Officer and later promoted to Senior Sports Development Officer.
In 2003, he went for further studies to pursue Masters in Sports Management, Law and Humanities of Sport in Europe. Upon completion of his Master’s in 2004, Thabo joined the Botswana Football Association as the Chief Executive Officer of the Botswana Football Association, a position which he held for three years.
During his tenure at the Botswana Football Association, he was always part of the team that negotiated sponsorship rights for the Association. For the first time in Botswana, the Association was able to land lucrative sponsorship deals worth of millions of pula for the senior national team and for the Premier and First Division Leagues. This was the turning point in the area of sponsorships as many companies which came along raised the value of sponsorship.
In 2007, Thabo was recruited back by the Botswana National Sports Council to help pioneer the first Botswana Games which involved 11 sporting codes from 16 Districts around Botswana.
All through his career, Thabo served and still serves Sport in Botswana as a volunteer for various sport organizations and teams in different capacities as an administrator.
