H.E. Ambassador, Jack Brewer
International Entrepreneur
During his NFL career, His Excellency Ambassador Jack Brewer was known as an exceptional special teams player and versatile defensive back. Since retiring from the game, he has added widely known International Entrepreneur, Philanthropist and UN Ambassador to his resume. Ambassador Brewer established a reputation as a true leader during his five year tenure in the National Football League (NFL), including serving as team captain on three NFL teams. He was named Vikings team captain in 2003 and went on to be named captain of the New York Giants (2004) and the Philadelphia Eagles (2005). Ambassador Brewer was a special teams Pro Bowl candidate as a rookie and had his first career interception against star quarterback Brett Favre that same year. After completing his fifth and final year in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals (2006), Ambassador Brewer accepted a position as a Wealth Manager with Merrill Lynch (2007) in the Global Private Client Group located in New York City.
After a successful career at Merrill Lynch, Ambassador Brewer founded The Brewer Group (2009). The Brewer Group (“TBG”) is a diversified global advisory firm that offers private client, specialty finance and corporate advisory services. TBG’s diverse clientele includes high net worth individuals, small to medium size corporations, elite athletes, entertainers, sports agencies, investment funds and money managers. Ambassador Brewer has spearheaded various successful partnerships and initiatives in the sports, business and global development fields. As a sports finance and business expert, Ambassador Brewer has been featured in a variety of media appearances including channels such as South-South News, KFAN, FOX and CBS. He is a regular contributor for CNBC and writes a weekly sports finance article for The Business Journals.
In addition to his sports and international business endeavors, Ambassador Brewer is also a passionate philanthropist. He was recently named as Ambassador for Peace and Sport for the US Federation of Middle East Peace (UFMEP) / United Federation of Peace and Development (UFPD) at the United Nations. He is the Founder and Executive Director of The Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF Worldwide) which he founded in 2006. JBF Worldwide focuses on the empowerment of women and children living within impoverished and underdeveloped communities through the implementation of initiatives that enable food security; provide access to educational resources; assist with disaster relief and medical aid; and promote peace and development through sport. Work is done in countries including Malawi, Haiti, China, Mexico, South Africa and many more. JBF Worldwide works in partnership with the Joyce Banda Foundation (created by President Joyce Banda of Malawi) to positively impact the communities and economy of Malawi. Jack Brewer also currently serves as Chairman of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals Awards Athletes and Artists Committee, Chair of Board of Directors for the Montessori Model United Nations and Senior Advisor to H.E. Joyce Banda, President of the Republic of Malawi among other advisory positions.
